New Housemate

We would like to welcome our newest housemate Justin.
Justin has been with us now for just over 2 weeks and has attended his first service user meeting reporting that he thinks all his fellow housemates and staff are fantastic.
Justin is a very active sporting young man and has a very busy schedule which includes, horse riding, snooker and gardening.

Cooking Skills

Yesterday afternoon Sheriff was assisted in the kitchen to prepare, cook and serve an evening meal for all of his fellow housemates and staff.
Sheriff was very aware of the food safety and hygiene rues that have to be adhered to when preparing and serving meals for others and he and Pete made a meat lasagne and a vegetarian lasagne.
When other housemate came into the kitchen to see what was happening Sheriff ensured they helped with cleaning of the pots and pans that were used.
The efforts that Sheriff made were fully appreciated by all that had dinner last night as no one left anything on their plates.
Well done and thankyou to Sheriff

Group get together

With the weather for this time of year being very kind to us staff at The Willows and Willow View took the opportunity to take as many service users to the local park and enjoy the sunshine have an ice-cream and chill out in the park

Holiday

Keith has now returned from his holiday that he had in North Devon and had a great time.
Keith is an avid fisherman and was supported by two members of staff .
The weather was kind to them and Keith managed to go fishing in a few places that he has not fished before.
Brian, senior support worker is also an avid angler and caught a personal record size perch so Keith and staff retuned home to tell us all about their fisherman's tales.

Perfect Weather For Fishing

Keith spent the perfect day fishing in the sunshine yesterday and caught 40 fish in just over 6 hours.
Keith is a really keen fisherman and now the weather is being kinder to us he is able to fish with a crusty loaf as the fish take the bread from the top of the lake rather than fishing deeper in the lake...............
