Tank Museum

On the weekend some of the housemate and staff went along to The Tank Museum at Bovington.

All appeared to have a great time while they were out for the afternoon looking at all the old tanks.

The decision to go to Bovington was made during a house meeting that takes place at The Willows every Thursday so activities for the forth coming weekend can be planned.

Portsmouth Trip

On the weekend a group of housemates went down to Portsmouth after they had had a discussion about which activities they would like to do on the weekend.

Here you can see that all involved looked like they had a great time dispite the weather being rather windy and cold they still all managed to enjoy that packed lunch that had been prepared for them.

London Trip

On Saturday Angie and Sally (our newest staff member) took Jason, Keith, Kurt, John and Jamie (The Lads) of too London for a day trip to The Imperial War Museum.

After the museum they all decided to go to Battersea park before heading homeback to Warminster.

Afternoon Out

Last week some of the people we support went over to Southwick country park with some of the staff at The Willows.

Jamie, and Justin really enjoy getting out and about in the fresh air when the weather is good.

Birthday Party

Last weekend Christine was treated to a belated birthday party in the local hall which was arranged by her sister.

Staff and people we support enjoyed the afternoon of music which had a Cliff Richard theme.

Fire Training

Most of the staff and some of the service user's at The Willows and Willow View took part in fire training on site here at The Willows on Wednesday.

Some of the training was spent in a classroom setting and the remainder was practical training putting fires out.

The feedback from those that took part was all very positive and staff said they felt it was worth while attending the session.

60th Birthday

Yesterday was Christine's 60th birthday.

Christine was sent lots of flowers , a ballon bouquet from her family as well as a beautiful cake.

Christine had a relaxing afternoon out with her sister to celebrate her day .

A party has been arranged for Christine by her other sister later in July with the theme being Cliff Richard as he is her favourite singer.
